It was a good place to test them out on!
Now that we know they work well we could use some more of them on Iran!
Although... I personally would have reccomended parts of Hollywood be used first...
I certainly wouldnt condone that type of thing being a patriotic American and all.
It is such an abborant thing... Im breathing heavily now as I consider the thought of it all.

Depleted Uranium is not used as bombs. They use that for tank armor and the armor piercing tips of bombs. Depleted Uranium is not radio active enough to do an x-ray much less be used as a radiation weapon. Our own troops get inside tanks completely covered in the stuff.

Depleted Uranium is an extremely hard and tough metal. Thus used for piercing tips and armor.

However, I am a Ron Paul guy and don't believe we should be over there at all. The Depleted Uranium just is not an issue at all, we need a strong military and that stuff just works.

I believe depleted uranium is used in large caliber machine gun rounds, not bombs.
It's used because it is heavier than lead rounds giving the rounds more penetration.
It was used long before the Bush administration.

Which nation? Do you know what depleted uranium is? You need to be more specific.

Why would someone who has no understanding of the usage of depleted uranium in modern warfare even attempt to ask this question? I implore you to research it before you ask a question that you are not really looking to have answered, but asking in order to cowardly state your opinion.

Were you born naive, or did the mainstream media do this to you?

Yeah, we should be ashamed of ourselves killing people for no reason and poisoning them with uranium.

Typical Democrats trying to get elected again.

Carter had us so ashamed of ourselves everyone feared to fly the flag due to ridicule and Iran took our hostages for 444 days due to Carter wanting to be a martyr for all the "bad" we've done.

Then Reagan came into the picture and they released the hostages the same day. Pride was restored again, against all those that lacked self-confidence with a loser's mentality.

Sorry, but we're not going to give terrorism free rein over the world, and we're not going to "shame" them into defeat, but kill them instead. It's more permanent.

Maybe our bombs hit the WMD's we couldn't find.

Why don't you also mention the UK doing the same, the report does. Perhaps Allah only wants you to speak out against the US.

DU shells are good at penetrating tank armor.

However, Saddam really didn't have many tanks left (from the first Gulf War) in 2003.

So I am unsure why they were needed and used.
