The vast majority won't mind, and those that make it an issue, I'd say are not worth your time. Just imagine all the issues they'll make later in the relationship.

Don't let others make you feel like you're dirty just because you're uncircumcised, because you can be clean just as you are. You also have plenty of advantages. Before you consider getting it done, make sure to research it, since it is a permanent (you can't go back) surgery.

Circumcision has become less common, though. Circumcision rates were as high as 90% back in the 1960s and 1970s (that's partly why today's adults are so... brainwashed, I supposed you could say, about thinking that circumcision is better) but they have fallen to as low as 14% in some states. Basically, when the penis is hard, you can't tell the difference. It's only when they aren't hard that you notice the difference. Uncut ones have skin that covers the head of the penis, cut ones do not have the foreskin and the head is exposed all the time. As far as cleanliness goes, if he takes a shower every day and is othewise clean, his uncut penis will be just as clean as someone else's cut penis.

Some girls like circumcised (mostly shallow American girls who don't know anything different), some girls like intact (uncircumcised) penises, and some don't care. You won't get a single consensus on this question.

I think they all look silly, but really I'm not going to see one attached to a guy I like and say it's ugly! Honestly though I think intact looks natural and more normal. Circumcised looks weird (not surprising considering it has been surgically altered and missing a bit). I know some people who are used to circumcised though have the opposite opinion, so it depends what you're used to. I read some Europeans mentioning it though and they said it was "rank" to have a scar there...

I have to laugh at the answers below me - get problems and die? etc. some people aren't on this planet.

I have experienced both as my husband was recently circumcised and i say i prefer uncircumcised, the simple reason is that before he was circumcised he felt more pleasure, now he has been de-sensitised and doesn't get the same feelings as he used to.
