Go to listings for your city - that way you can see the guitar before you buy

I'll just second Mike's suggestion with a thought of my own. I've been considering getting a Digitech myself, Ive been looking at one at Guitar Center that is under $100 I think it's like a rp-100 or something that has a wah pedal footswitch as well as regular stomp box features. It looks like it might be pretty good for the price.

Radio Shack sells one for $99.00. It also has the capability to record your music in to an SD Slot so that you can play it back on the PC. Awesome Electric Guitar for a low price.

Try ebay-- they have some -- then you might try a pawn shop-- Look in the want ads in your news paper --sometimes people buy guitars and don't learn to play them and put them up for sale cheap. the MUSIC STORES WILL BE TOO HIGH IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHEAP ONE. i DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE --i HAVE A CHEAP ONE IN ALABAMA--but its a cheap guitar also. What brand are you looking for -- remember that a Martin or Gibson is your better guitars. Good Luck to you --I hope you find one .

have you tried a local pawn shop? they will be used and usually have a pretty good selection, with a variety in price range.
