as usual i'll be the hostess - will spend a fair bit of time from next weekend on prepping for the meal (which is usually five or six courses) so that i have a minimum to do on christmas day - i usually flatly refuse to do the washing up after though!!! i do love hosting a real dinner party and having lots of people around me - we'll have a log fire burning in the open hearth and lots of live music (most of my guests play instruments and have been asked to bring them) and play silly word games - and thoroughly enjoy ourselves and eat too much, maybe even drink a little too much too!

My daughter and I are going to FL to visit my sister/father for the holidays, so she will do the hostessing and she'll wait on us, I'm sure. She is very domestic. She is also a great cook. I'm looking forward to unwinding and relaxing for the 5 days we'll be there! I'm very excited!

Waited On. This is my boyfriend and I's first Christmas living together so no one trusts us enough yet to have Christmas Eve or Christmas Day dinner. Christmas Eve we will be waited on by his parents and then by my mom and sister. Then Christmas day we're going to my aunt's house.

i'm 13 and that i hardly see my kin so i like going to my nan and grandad's domicile the place all my kin commonly is going for christmas dinner (i like that too lol). To be honest i like the general spirit and the way all of us is often satisfied, i like the decorations besides, and of direction i like the provides, what's there to no longer love?! yet as I reported seeing my kin is my accepted :) desire it helped! x

I will be waited on! Except when I do my usual thing and cant stay still so I help, to much sometimes. Going to visit my mother for Christmas.

For the first time in many many years i will be waited on. Im going to my daughters and shes cooking for 10 of us. But I bet Ill have to help out!

a bit of both,its a buffet type of thing,I contribute to the cooking and set up ,and the clean up,so more Hostessing than sitting on my @ss...>=)

I will be mainly waited on, at my mother in laws, but i always get the sleeves rolled up any give her a hand!
