I am trying to convince my wife to see I Am Legend. She is worried it will be really bloody and gross with plenty of eaten brains. Any thoughts?

Not sure I haven't seen it. Tell your wife to stop acting like such a scary-azz and just go to the movies.

I think this might be a R if they are sexual scene which there are none. Also if this was a japanese or foreign film will easily rated R, i don't remember any other zombie movie got a PG13. True this is not a full zombie movie, is more like half zombie but still probably too scare to many kids. No brain eated, just alot of behind the back pop up and scream from zombie.

I saw a sneak preview of it the other night... it isnt very bloody. No brains or anything like that...
But I didnt like the movie very much, the ending sucked.
Then again on the other hand there is just enough "girl stuff" in the movie so women won't hate it and pleanty of guy stuff for the men.

I saw it this weekend. Personally I hate scary movies, but went to this one thinking it was more Sci-Fi. My bf has to talk me into seeing most scary movies. Honestly, wish I did not see it, think I am now afraid of the dark and I am 23. I also think that it is more scary cause it seems more real. BF thought it was not scary at all though. It's not that bloody at all, the loud loud movie theater noises and the zombies screaming made me jump out of my seat a view times.

Well it has a PG-13 rating so i dont imagine that there will be a lot of blood and gore, but i havent seen the film yet, but tell your wife that if she goes with you to see I am Legend, then you will go see P.S. I Love You with her...you cant lose.

No nothing like 28 weeks later. Its less than that. I know theres violence but not gore type. It should be a good film for teens+ but i wouldn't suggest the kids but no nudity, so you could bring em. Just nothing worst than a jurassic park movie i would say lol.

It tells u how bad movies are if u are a wimp and or have a smile child. lol jk If the movie isnt listed yet u may have to wait til it comes out. Usually the first day it hits theatres its listed. I am so ready for that movies to come out! Looks AWESOME!

I just saw it and it's not very gross at all. It is a little scary at parts if she doesn't like that, but there isn't very much blood at all, maybe a little here or there, that's all.

it's not gross or too violent. i mean it is..but its not TOO bad. its kinda creepy, it made me jump a few times, but it was a good movie. there were some parts that were kinda gross, but i watched it all (usually in gross parts of movies i have to turn my head but i didn't in this one). just tell your wife that you've heard its a good movie (cause it is) =]
