I know that the elections are coming up and people will vote for their prefered canidate and its time for bush to leave. However, does anyone actuall believe that bush will leave office when he is supposed to.I don't know why but i get this feeling that something stupid might happen that will give bush the opportunity to extend his time in office. Some incredibly random event will happen that will make the make the american vote or give bush the power to stay in office longer so that he can save us from whatever the event is.
Any thoughts

Thes are just some of the over 700 laws that Bush has changed becaue he just wanted to.He has already disregarded our consitution so if the consitution has no hold over him then what will stop him.

Mr.Everbrook this may come as a shock to you but this has come from studying and learnig. All the laws that have been changed by bush for his on agenda are ducumented.Bush has even acknowledged that our constitution gives him the authority to ignore whats in it if he see's fit to.I guess you're a conservative but that doesn't mean that you can't research things for yourself with an open mind.Don't worry know will call you names and you won't catch the liberal virus if you ask questions and try to learn things on your own.Or you can just tell yourself that bush changing laws and bypassing the constitution are all lies made up by the liberal media.Whatever helps you sleep at night

Maybe, maybe not. I HAVE studied History (M.A., 2007) and I can assure you, the past is littered with stories of arrogant buffoons like Bush who could not imagine the world without their "strong leadership." Technically, he has the self-awarded power to suspend elections, or to declare martial law - using his "signing statements" and the Patriot Act to defend these actions. I would hope someone would be inspired to remove him anyway, but people in this country have become such GD sheep, nothing would surprise me. Bush must know how deep the hatred is against him, and I doubt he'd try anything as bold as his "law" permits, but how many times has he pulled some stunt that no one would have imagined, and gotten away with it? One more would be right in character...

Bush will depart on the top of his term without incident, extremely the main subject he had is he went into the presidency with a naivety approximately how the individuals could react. He tried as he would desire to to do good works and have been given **** on for it. good interest adult men i'm hoping you sense genuine good approximately yourselves.

Heh, maybe. You have to consider this, however: Why would he willing turn over all the power he spent eight years gathering to a democrat (if in fact a democrat wins) if a republican wins, I think he'll absolutely leave...but if a democrat wins, I think he'd be at least slightly more reluctant to do so. You know he does have an executive order on the books which gives him absolute authority to run the government in the case of a "terrorist attack or other disaster." Just vague enough to be anything at all, isn't it?

This is an interesting question . in fact , i have asked myself the same question . what happened during Mr Bush' two-term in office is beyond anybody's belief . and it all comes to the end with huge pile of lies , deception , denial and the least or all : mistakes . and i wondered how can he goes out of office exposing himself and his government to possible persecution or may be even to jail just like that ?. what is the trick ? is there something as the asker said going on underway ?
I'm not into politics much but the trick is maybe pushing a popular republican like Mr Giuliani into the oval office who will then give Mr Bush and his administration a pardon so they can't be persecuted .
but the question remains .

bush is not going to allow anyone to take office and he will declare martial law around march, suspend the constitution, and crack down on any dissenters. he will be the last president of the U.S. i hope for our sake, the people, months later god will step in and decide the faith of the "the decider". if i was a person concern about the future i would store a couple months supply of food and water just in case.

I have no doubt he will leave willingly and will obey the laws. Also, he sure doesn't want to screw up a run at the Presidency for brother Jeb.

Yes.
Not hard to tell that you are a little kid that hasn't studied any History. Or the Constitution. Or the Bill of Rights.

Study and learn!
(Don't end up being a gullible Democrat.)

Absoltuely not. The Deomcrats control Congress and would never allow that to happen. That's the beauty of our checks and balances system.
