My guess:
The same things John Edwards was talking openly about that made him the unofficial "winner" of the last Democratic debate:
-Good wages and good benefits for working class Americans
-Taking better care of our environment
-Creating a government that serves the American people, NOT the darling special interest big business groups that the GOP panders to for donations.

You know,REAL issues!

Because, isnt it true that the longer the Republicans can stall with their unconstitutional approach to imposing religious beliefs on others, the less time the have to actually discuss issues that affect most Americans in the first place?

They are trying to solidify the Christian Right in their corner. I agree this should not be front and center in a political debate - or even at all for that matter.

The War in Iraq is the ONLY issue of importance right now, whether Americans realize it or not. Everybody is ignoring the elephant in the room. We've spent 1.2 trillion dollars in Afghanistan and Iraq and NOBODY is very serious about ending these wars except for Ron Paul. The big issue nobody is talking about is how we're borrowing money from China to fund our war with Iraq and that our country is going into debt and we are experiencing runaway inflation. We experienced the highest monthly increase in wholesale goods last month in 34 years. And it's not the increased price of gas that's causing inflation. It's the weakened dollar.
Nobody is talking about these important issues, and all of your dandy Edwards issues aren't going to matter if everybody in the world dumps their dollars.

Ruth, your answer proves your ignorance. You have to be willing to listen to the other side if you're going to have an informed opinion about the people you oppose. That's the problem with you Cons, you only expose yourself to information that comes from within, thus furthering your ignorance.

It's funny that you're criticizing someone for trying to hear what both sides are saying. There is a reason the Cons/Reps are losing support, it's because nobody actually knows what the hell they're talking about.

lots of individuals do "floor" arguments which at the instant are not anchorerd wherein ability, logic or perhaps problem-loose problem-loose experience. they are able to pivot on any be conscious that motives an emotional outburst and hop from subject count to unrelated subject count. it extremely is particularly problematical to objective to speak with those human beings. they only make no experience. those infantile human beings often lack sufficient intensity thought to have an grownup conversation. you are able to observe a loss of concentration once you stare deep interior their eyeballs and observe a shallow "glazed" look. they are able to't extremely be helped because of the fact they lack the strategies of intelligence. the final ingredient to do is clarify issues in basic terms that they understand and then stay clear of intense dialogue with them. right it extremely is all you are able to desire to appreciate approximately crime and victimhood. it extremely is sensible to be prudent, and volatile to no longer be prudent. yet no count the behaviour of the sufferer, it never absolves the criminal. A criminal is in simple terms individual who commits against the regulation, and every physique who commits crimes would desire to be taken care of as a criminal. So if somebody needs to weave a floor argument explaining how the concepts of high quality and incorrect are subjective, which makes them beside the point, and that the criminal behaviour replaced into basically attainable using negligence on the area of the sufferer and consequently it replaced into the sufferer's fault no longer the criminal's, then I propose you tell them that committing any crime is a sin. it extremely is that easy.

Why would a socialist leaning Liberal even watch the Republican debate? LOL

Huckabee distinguished himself as a Christian and it apparently worked for him. Of course the other candidates had to address the issue.

Looks like mainstream America is still too Christian for ya.'

They perpetually play the God card because, as we all know, the winner of the republican nomination will the guy who loves Jesus the most.
