Pedro Morales - was the first to complete the Triple Crown (heavyweight, IC and tag-team champion in career) by winning the IC title in late 1980, losing to Don Muraco in June 1981 and then becoming the first two-time IC champ in November 1981. He dropped the strap to Muraco 14 months later...the longest IC title run at that point.

I would say Chris Jericho because he has had a whole lot of classic matches like the ladder match against Chris Benoit from Royal Rumble 2001 i would not say not the best but good.
Shawn Michael's i would say best even though i don't like him that much his Wrestlemaina match against Razor in the ladder match was classic it will always be remembered.

Warrior? Come on, he only knew three moves: Clothesline, gorilla press, and a splash. In my opinion Randy Savage's run as the IC champion was my favorite. I also liked Scott Hall's IC title runs, and Curt Hennig's as well.

Rowdy Roddy Piper did alright.
The Mountie was terrible.
Jeff Jarrett did pretty good.

I liked the Ultimate Warrior's the best. He worked hard to get it and went undefeated for what, like a year, then took the heavyweight title from Hulk freakin Hogan. Not many people can claim that :)

Got to go with Honkey Tonk Man. Like him or not he had the longest. All though Warrior did kick the *@#* out of him.
