I find that when someone likes me, I feel a little flattered. But then I start to get reeaally annoyed if they pursue their emotion, when I showed it clearly that I don't like them.

I feel flattered at first.
but u know when they start telling u how much they like u over and over and start hanging out with you like saying hi EVERYTIME they see you or they stare at you and it freaks you out but they don't know it. It kinda gets annoying.

I completely agree with you. I tend to make friends mostly with males. I think it's because women are very competitive and all my female friends have proved to be untrustworthy so now I end up making friends with males. Well eventually some of my male friends will end up liking me. I can tell when they do and I do get flattered. I've had the few who didn't take the hint that I am not interested back and have been really annoying. That just creeps me out. They will say they miss me a lot and they love me. I get weirded out and just ignore them for awhile, then when we talk again its the same awkwardness.

Usually flattered, except if the person won't give up no matter what I say. Then I feel like they clearly don't respect me (or they would accept my answer) so I get creeped out and annoyed.

I feel flattered but if I don't like them than I don't want them to act on their emotions in any way.

Flattered AND comlimented. I like anyone that can manage to like me. That's all it takes. I can deal with the rest. People are so diverse, I don't want to miss a thing concerning people.

omg that JUST happened to me! theres this 17-yeard old senior at my school who has liked me for 2 months now (my friend, who is his bff, told me), and im only 15 (sophmore)....its really awkward cuz i don't really like him like that...i don't really know him though! (he's not really that attractive, either...) we are hanging out tonight though, (with some other ppl also) so...idk.
i guess im flattered, but its still awkward!
