I squashed it with my shoe. I was wearing it at the time. Since I was in the middle of a freak out spasm at the sight of the brown recluse I think it was probably too scared to try to jump on me.

Yeah, Once last summer I was removing the floorboards of my tent. There were three brown recleuse, eight black widows, and a black widow eggsack. I just took a thick stick and crushed them. They didn't jump, they just tried to run away.

I never saw the one that bit me. He caused me to endure lots of pain, 2 surgeries and left me with a lovely 10 inch scar on my left leg!

i was trying to kill one once and it jumped across the room into my mouth as i screamed... i had to eat it to kill it... i will never be the same...

yes. When my son was little, he had one crawling on him!!! I swatted it to get it off of him and stomped the daylights out of it. No, it didnt try to come at me, thank God!
