You can run if you have a live battery and your cars are registered with the appropriate State Department of Motor Vehicles. At any rate, you can't drive all 26 of them at once . . . How do we know that all 26 were actually stolen? . . . Maybe one or more of your so-called, constituents, gave them to you? . . . NOW, THAT would be illegal.

Not the same thing.

When you stole the car, did you take the car from someone else? (obviously)

When you were doing your illegal drugs, did you inject anyone else with your illegal drugs? (hopefully not)

So how do you compare a crime whereas you are hurting others (you took their car) to a crime that is only hurting the individual (yourself if you are doing harmful illegal drugs) ?

Definitely not the same thing.

I suppose it depends on how young you were, under 21? Were they match stick cars for little tikes?
Otherwise, you could run for president of a company that specializes in car theft prevention with your expertise and experience a big asset. Or Pres of a car company since you're obviously into cars and make sure to implement anti theft devices in your vehicles made.

I believe you are eligible to run for any presidential office you want. However, you can only run for president of the US if you are 35 or older, and are a natural born citizen. So it looks good if you want to be president of your Stolen Car Society!

No I think you need to steal on a way larger scale to run for President. We are talking stocks and bonds here. And you are way to honest. Honesty is not a good thing to have as a President. And you have to put your face in everybody Else's business that does not concern you and put the blame on everybody else. I could go on and on but I think you figured it out. (lol)

Sure! If Bush can score below average on his ASVAB test, snort an 8-ball of cocaine per day and keep a flask of whiskey in his plane while assigned to a National Guard fighter attack wing and still get "elected" to the presidency, you certainly have what it takes to be the leader of the free world.

In fact, you might be OVERQUALIFIED!

Barack Obama also practiced miscegenation, also illegal at the time. Eventually we will realize that drug laws are unconstitutional as well.
Stealing cars is a moral crime that hurts other people.

Show me a person who says they have never done anything illegal in their life and I'll show you a person who is a liar that can't be trusted to run for President.

It's OK if you're a Democrat. The Clintons stole several thousand dollars worth of furniture, dishes, etc. from the White House when they left. Twenty six cars should enhance your resume.

Ah but were you CAUGHT? A stint in jail is a bit different than a confession of "youthful indiscretions". LOL!

I find honesty rather refreshing. And I think what you're referring to is ancient news.
