I'm in Nashville. Last night a high school here had Pacman Jones as the featured speaker for its sports baquet. He told them "I've made alot of mistakes...". No kidding!
If you were a parent, would you want him to be the featured speaker?

NO
in a few years IF pacman shows he actually has learned from his mistakes then the answer would be yes. as of today pacman has not shown he has learned anything and has not yet shown he will stay out of trouble. it shows a real lack of judgment to have invited him to speak.

No!!!!!!! Anytime you are dealing with high school kids, it is important that they have positive role models to look up to. Anyone else on the Tennessee Titans would have been a much better choice.

Whoever was in charge of inviting Jones is in serious need of a head examination.

As long as he is telling the kids that he made mistakes, I would be fine with it. Accountability is a character trait I wish more professional sports figures had. Kids need to be warned about the consequences your career can have if you surround yourself with the wrong crowd. He is as good a person as any for them to learn from. I don't see Britney Spears or Lindsey Lohan admitting their mistakes and trying to be a better role model for kids who look up to them.

That is unbelievable. Pacman Jones is a scumbag that should not be allowed to even be within 100 yards of kids, whether we are talking high school, junior high, elementary, or pre-school. Talk is cheap. Act like a grown adult for a while before you go around trying to act like a role model.

Sure, perhaps next year they can bring in Barry Bonds and he can tell the kids how to make the mistake of scoring some HGH.

wonder if he brought his gun and drugs to the school with him to show the kids how he made the mistakes. this is laughable and the school should be ashamed of themselves.
