I'm not told to do anything. Even if I'm in a bad mood.

If I was cranky, he might do all he could to make sure that I was okay first, and then maybe suggest taking a nap or going out to do something fun. Or he might just have to know to stay out of my way for a few hours! :-)

My husband doesn't dare make me do anything. I wouldn't dare make him either.
I might suggest to him that he is cranky, and how much sleep did he get.
Make-you are talking like a child. This is your partner, not your daddy.
I hardly ever have to be asked to take a nap-when I get tired, I am usually ready to nap. I take good care of MYSELF!

Like the other's I have to say...ARE YOU KIDDING ?? The only way my husband would want me to take a nap would be to fool around but not to sleep.
By the way sex helps if your cranky too you know !

Did you bump your head??? My husband does not tell me to do anything! If my husband told me to take a nap because I am cranky I think I would have to tell him a few extremely choice words.

I realize that this question is for wives and I am a husband. For what it's worth when my wife is cranky I uncrank her. I give her a nice long sensual massage often including aroma therapy and relaxing hypnotic music. Other times I tie her up, not for everyone, but being tied relaxes her. Other times we have sex. That relaxes her and calms her down and after orgasming she often drifts off to sleep whether I want her to or not!. And still other times we just take a walk and talk.
You shouldn't really try to make your spouse do anything. It is OK to induce her or him to do things though.

If my husband told me to go take a nap I'd tell him to go take a leap. He has volunteered to watch the kids while I take a nap on days I am not feeling well, but he has never made me.

"Take a nap" is one of our euphemisms for couple time as in sex--a way to excuse ourselves and get privacy from the kids for a bit.
He's never made me take one alone for real because of my mood. That sounds like something a parent does to a child, not something a spouse does.
Either you are REALLY cranky, or your hubby needs to lighten up (or come "take a nap" with you!)

I wish my husband made me take naps. If I'm napping, that probably means he is taking care of the things I would be taking care of if I wasn't napping and how sweet of him to do so! Who doesn't like naps? :)
