If Duncan misses the 2008 playoffs, the Celtics win the title this year. If Duncan plays, the Spurs defeat the Celtics in the 2008 NBA Finals.

Well they have 16 more than any other team in the nba. Yeah they will win one. They will compete for one this year because they will win the east. I think celtics would be unstoppable if the picked up chris webber and Latrell Sprewell. Both are out of the nba and need jobs and neither has a championship.

It is a possibility if everybody stays healthy, positive, and active. It will be extremely tough for the City of Boston however, because in the Playoffs they will be forced to play teams like Detroit, Orlando, and Cleveland one after the other. They have very little experience in this, and it will be a tough act to follow.

nicely, the close to destiny isn't that vibrant for the Celtics, yet while Paul Pierce remains with the team, and Boston drafts a brilliant rookie who will develop right into a brilliant call, they'd win interior a decade.

they have a chance on paper but again pistons is a darn deep and seasoned team (gosh they land walter hermann and primoz brezec and get rid of nazr mohammed) which seems more likely to be the winner.
maybe celtics should take a look on signing veteran free agents like ruben patterson and earl boykins to deepen the bench, and now they have a better chance to lure p.j. brown coming out of retirement.

They could do it if they stay healthy. That's the key. I mean KG is a machine and he is focused now more than ever. The question is can they best a Phoenix or a San Antonio? Good question but I certainly think they have a shot at it.

As long as KG, Piece, and Ray does not get injured then they will meet the Spurs in the finals and win it 4 games to 1.
