No, it's not a form of cheating, but I'm not sure I would be keen for my man to go to my office party. It's all shop talk, and embarrassing moments when the boss gets drunk. I swore I would never go to HIS office party again. Last time was 3 years ago; I knew no-one; my guy stayed at the bar for much of the evening, being bawdy with his mates; I stayed sober, cos I was driving home...big mistake! I ended up with a car full of VERY drunk men and driving them all home! Maybe your guy wants to let his hair down and doesn't want you there to see how awful he gets? Don't put too much store by it - go out that night yourself with your girlfriends and take your mind off it.

Unfortunately, everybody has different definitions of what cheating is - Yes I think it's cheating - 1 - because he is doing something physical with the person (kissing) and 2 because he is emotionally cheating by saying he loves this person (cuz I'm guessing he doesn't mean like a sister) and I'm sure he says plenty of other things.

Cheating does not require intercourse. It is cheating if the wife is unaware or don't approve.

I like yes, I have a best friend I never kiss him but I hug him, I think I would have a problem with my husband kissing someone else.

Of course that's cheating...he's kissing another woman and telling her he loves her! It's full blown emotional cheating, and partial physical cheating! This guy's wife needs to tell him to stop seeing this other woman, or it's over!

If he wouldn't do it in front of his wife, he shouldn't be doing it at all. Sounds like emotional infidelity,at the very least, if it hasn't already gone physical.
