Bob-Thanks for the Muslim invite. Have you ever read a question on here that makes you laugh later? I did last night on the way home.

Here are the real questions:

Do you think that when a hockey player gets married his game play improves, worsens, or does not matter???

Have you ever worn face paint to a hockey game to support your team?

Do you think that some hockey players look better with a helmet on?

As for the last question: Have any of you guys ever seen Eric Perrin on the Thrashers. Holy crap, that Quasimoto has a forehead that could be covered with a band-aid. My boyfriend was joking with me about having a crush on him, and I was thinking, “If that guy never took off his helmet, fixed those "morning pee" colored, warped chompers, was actually a good player, and I was drunk......he still wouldn't be porkable."

I really don't think marriage has much to do with how a player plays most of the time. I know guys and girls that I play with that after they get hitched there was no drop off. It really depends on the player. I have never worn face paint to a game, even in high school. I have put on fake tattoos but not on my face. Yes there are some players that you want to say " come here , baby(while patting on the bed) No leave the helmet on it's kinky"

I think it'll improve mentally, but worsen physically. I've never been married (scary thought), but I have heard that sex can have an adverse effect on an athlete's performance. I heard that over ten years ago, so the research has probably been more refined or some other counter-research (or whatever egghead scientists call it) proves that theory obsolete.

No, actually, I've always hated getting my face painted on, even as a kid.

Whenever I think of hockey players without helmets, I think of Craig MacTavish, or Brad Marsh or another player with their mullets. Bobby Hull was balding when he signed on with the WHA which made it even funnier. So, no, I don't think players or refs (Kerry Frasier) would look better with a helmet on. But that's just me.

LOL Wow, Haley, that's...that's pretty ugly...

Joe, is "********" better? Take your pick. lol

1. I would assume some try way harder because wifey will get pissed if he loses, I assume some subscribe to the no nookie before gameday bible, and therefor suck when they screw it up. Case in point, Emery's current performance now that he and Neil are life partners.

2. Not face paint, when my sister, bestie, and i go to games we tend to get kinda girly and wear blue and gold stars, see below:

3. God don't like ugly. That's why he invented hockey helmets. I would say Chara qualifies as a bagger, but there's no hiding that beak, and I don't care, Sabre or not, Afinogenov will always be an emaciated McGuiver

You become a better player after you get married, the ice time is a great place to let out your frustrations about the lack of sex and constant nagging waiting for you at home.

No, if you are a guy and you are older than 10 and you paint your face, you are lame and should be at the wrestling matches cheering for the Ultimate Warrior or something.

Ugly is ugly whether you slap a helmet on it or not.

1) If it were me, I'd probably be a meaner player.

2) I don't do make-up.

3) I make anything look good. As a goalie, I resented the fact that I had to wear a mask. (We used face-huggers at that time) Something as good looking as my mug shouldn't be covered up. Do you ever see the Mona Lisa covered with a towel?

LOL. Just being FACEtious.

I find wearing my helmet bacwards makes me look much better, reducing the visible effects of years of marriage(s).
Being a Leaf fan can be humiliating enough, the paint is more of a disguise.

JS Giguere had a terrible season after he got married....I'm just saying..................LOL

I've never done face painting, I get facial clausterphobia when I wear too much makeup.

Some guys do look better with their helmets on. For some reason, some the the guys in the ECHL like to dye their dark hair blonde, so it turns out orange. You see them and you are like "Jesus, a flaming pumpkin!"
