Just wondering who shops for who. Do you pick out your inlaws gifts with your husband with out your husband or together?

When we gave gifts he and I worked together to decide what to give them.

We now have a rule that we only buy for those 18 and under in our family.

Which ever one of us is out picks it up. We have done it together. My in laws refuse to stop shopping for themselves so there is nothing we can buy them. They will not tell us what they want. We buy the same thing every year. They get matching Harley shirts from some where different every year and a gift certificate to a restraunt. They eat out most of the time. We usually buy the shirts when we are on vacation every year. Sometimes we just get them from another place around where we live.

I already answered this on another question but wow wanda you are lucky. We do this on my side only I do buy for my parents still. If we only bought for the kids my mil would be mad and probably try to get classified as under 18. We actually have to buy her more and spend more on her than anyone except the kids or she will get jeolous. Gifts we have gotten her computers, printers, etc... Usually when she asks she asks for really expensive things and he wants to get her whatever she wants. This year she gave us the list that she gives her daughter and husband- these things are alot cheaper, yay. we won't go broke.
