I say there is a very good chance the Lebron will win the mvp award on two occasions. One is that he keeps his performance how he is because not only is it good for his stats but good for the Cavaliers because they are the only ones who are benifiting from it when he puts big numbers, the statistics show that the Cavaliers usually win an that would be good for this team now that Lebron is back and there not in that hole they were in when James was injured.

Second is that he needs to step up and prove to everyone why he and not Howard, who is doing amzing so far in the season in my book, or Garnett, who is also good ,deserve it so he need to improve as a team and as a player because, trust me this MVP race is really close this year with player who have soared from last year like Kevin Martin or Dwight Howard but I think Lebron will prove himself and hopefully he gets some help from someone who decides to step up in the team, may it be Gibson, Shannon, a traded player or maybe even Varajao.

I say it is too early to tell. Dwight Howard is the #1 contender and KG or Lebron is #2. If he stays healthy LeBron might have a chance.

King James may not win this year because Dwight Howard is going to win it. King James will win in the future fo sho since his averages are above Jordan and Kobe when they were 22.

If the Cleveland Caveliers continue to win when James playing and lose when he's not, he's going to win for sure.
He's been very close in the ballots the past two years and Cleveland are 0-5 without him the the line up. He's leading the lead in scoring and one of the top assists and rebounding players.
If he keeps his stats like what he has now and Cleveland makes to conference final, he will win for sure. No one really helps him in Cleveland now.

dwight howard will win it. he is averaging a double double. 23 points, 15 rebounds, nearly 3 blocks, 60% field goal, and has just turned 22 less than a week ago, (dec. 8). Lebron is averaging 29.9 points but not much of anything else other than assists (7.9). He is getting 7 rebounds too. He is still 22 but will turn 23 soon (dec.30)

I think Kevin Garnet will be named the MVP because they are still unbeaten at home and have a much better record

too early to say, if a team wins 70+ games, one of their players are going to be mvp.

Let's look at who else could be a contender. KG, Duncan, Nash, and I'm gonna throw out a sleeper, Dwight Howard. That's five players total. 20% chance.

I would say 70% because he had a better chance before he got hurt.
