d. Teach them how not to learn, and you'll have a generation of self-absorbled egotist that will ruin the econ...wait, that's happening right now!
Any way, seriously...giving the "poor dears" (translate to "lazy little pestiferous boils") the answer, teaches them how not to learn. Why do you think that calculators used to not be allowed in Math classes? For God's sake, some poor sot posted a question begging for someone to tell her(?) how many seconds there were in 2 hours! Can't she do basic multiplication? (And if she can't, how was it she couldn't think to use the calculator Microsoft so helpfully installed with all copies of their OS's?)
Handing them the answers means that they will not be able to solve their problems when it counts later in life. That will cause some serious societal problems down the road.

Im pretty convinced they are doing it b/c they are lazy. Almost every answer to there homework can be easily done if they look in thier text book. If not the exact problem or wording something very close, that would answer thier question if they just read it. If they are really struggling with it they need to get help from thier parents, so they can get real help learning it and not just the answers. If the parents wont help them, they need to tell their teacher that they are struggling understanding the lesson. If the teacher wont help, go to the princple and tell them the teacher wont help them understand the lesson. There is no reason a child would HAVE to use Yanswers to do their homework b/c they cant do it.

C- I think kids should be able to find answers on their own but we need to realize that they live in a world much different from those of us who graduated 18-20 years ago! There is so much access to information at such a faster pace than when we were kids! They really don't know any different and how can they? They have laptops provided by the school for crying out loud!

B. Usually kids who come on here asking questions just don't know where else to look. Sure, it's wrong to do their work for them, but if you help them find the right source or just give them some assistance, what could be wrong with that?
By the way, if you ever need help with your grammar, feel free to write!

These kids ARE finding things on their own... that's what this site is for. If an answer comes with a good explanation, then they can learn from it. Often, they'll get more than one explanation that sound very similar: they'll realize that the answer isn't just something that you memorize. It has to make sense. If that helps them learn, then there is nothing wrong with trying to help.

A. I believe most of them don't even make an effort at doing it themselves. It serves them right if a person gives them all the wrong answers which sound like they are right. And have the kid go to school and get a big F on the exam.

I have my own option and will explain. Kids are no longer simply required to learn Reading, Writing and Arithmetic but to be experts in every class. I believe they are being given too much homework which results in poor social skills-I also believe that enabling them by 'doing' their homework isn't any good either. I know how to do it, they need to learn so they will know. Former literacy volunteer.

I think it is funny doing their homework for them. When they get to the big time (college upperclassmen), I will just sit back as they flunk out because they got people on the Internets help. Sorry kids, I can only get you so far. I'm not a Physics major.

i would choose "c". but the restrictions should come from the parents or guardians of those kids, they should not be always given access to the internet. true that they should learn from whatever their teacher is teaching them and that they should frind out about things on their own....that's why i pity those kids who are depending on this site for their homeworks.... they can't always have this site everytime...specially if they have exams anyway...
