I just saw Hannibal Rising a few days ago, and I really liked the movie, but it left me with a few serious questions:

1) What happens to him between the end of Hannibal Rising and the beginning of--I guess you'd say Red Dragon (since that's the earliest movie, chronologically), when he was caught & jailed?

2) If everyone, including the police KNEW what Hannibal was when he was younger, how did he become a renowned forensic psychiatrist?

3) What happened to Lady Murasaki?

Thanx for any & all answers!!!

In Hannibal Rising, Lecter divides his time between medical school in France and hunting those who killed and cannibalized his sister. One by one, he crosses paths with Grutas' men, killing them all . Eventually, Popil arrests Lecter, but Lecter is freed when popular support for his dispatch of war criminals combines with a lack of hard evidence. The novel ends with Lecter going to America to begin his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

I dont know about Murasaki, but its obvious they didnt keep in touch

My father is a writer, and he let me read a manuscript that he was reviewing. And this manuscript happened to be named Lecter and his Beast, great script must I say. When Hannibal tries to get it goin' with Lady Murasaki, she refuses andshe feeds him to white sharks he was nurturing in his submarine(the sub's name was Fernando). And the rest of the book was full of gore, gore, and eventually, gore.
