I tend to like the smaller ones as there is lots to do dvd's, cd, book to read ect to be honest anything is nice and appreciate all I am lucky to have.
My daughter went once with day centre to pound shop and brought me this orniment now she has passed I would never part with it we laughed about it at time but now it is so special.

I would say loads of little ones, on the other hand though I'd prefer something that I'd use, 30 things from poundland would not be used, no chance! lol

Totally agree makes you feel good opening lots of gifts, rather than just the one. My hubby usually gets loads of little things for the kids to wrap, they put them under the tree so that mummy has lots of presents to open while they unwrap theirs! Ahhhhhh.......... Can't wait!!

Me too! I like the little personal gifts that you know someone has taken a lot of time and effort to pick out for you!

however rich you think your parents are, there is no point in taking presents for the sake of it, if you like it and you want then take it but if not, give it back. i would prefer one big present because it would be of value and what i needed

It does not matter to me just the thought counts I am happy with a simple poem or something. I am old and do not need many things.
