I would rather see it with a good trim never bald unless it was natural that way. It looks like a little girl an it would make me feel guilty.

if guys prefer with no hair, why they don't try to wax theirs off, too? after an experience like that, they will sit quiet when asked this question again. so, you do whatever you want. it is your body. they better be happy we shave our legs, and armpits. they should do the same, right? better yet, use wax for all that.
