I thought it was very interesting. I was leery of it before I saw it because I had never seen a Michael Moore documentary and I know he doesn't have the best rep.
But he places a brilliant and cohesive argument. The fact is all government entities are struggling with funding issues -and it can really be attributed to inefficiency. The health care industry is no exception. Because of HMO's as a nation we are basically draining money to gamble on the chance of not getting sick.
I think the only solution is socialized medicine. It may not be perfect, but it makes more sense to provide socialized medicine as a public service. A healthy economy is strongly dependent on the quality of its labor.

I liked the movie but the thing I kept thinking about is that it is bias. But if it was a conservative making a movie about the US health care system, everything would look perfect.
I haven't personally dealt with what happened in the film but I know that some of my friends without health insurance are pushed out of their hospital stays alot quicker than ones with health insurance.
Unfortunately, I doubt we will ever have a perfect system in this country.

in case you think of wellbeing care in the u . s . a . is undesirable now, wait till the government takes it over! i don't comprehend why maximum of individuals are keen for the government to enhance its involvement in wellbeing care. this style of flow could bring about larger fees and worse consequences. At ultimate, public wellbeing care could carry out besides as public training -- which fits nicely in wealthier aspects, yet is little extra beneficial than warehousing in lots of inner cities. it would desire to be as undesirable as public housing, which maximum elementary individuals understand as an man made disaster. It takes a Kool-help drinker like Michael Moore to have faith that Cuba is the paradise that Castro touts. (i do no longer mean to denigrate the efforts of Cuba's scientific experts, who make do with a ways fewer components than docs in the u . s . a . or Western Europe.) the u . s . a . is meant to grant equivalent hazard, no longer equivalent consequences. the only way anybody is equivalent is that if anybody is in poverty. anybody different than the government leaders and their kinfolk and cronies, of direction!

I'm shocked that you would take his word for how things are since some 57 things in farenheit were wrong. In the Bowling for columbine movie the bank and free gun were stage set. falsehoods and the Roger and me movie was an out and out lie. Moore's father was a union rep who was in the same country club as GM's roger smith. He wasn't at the right Club and he knew it because he knew him personally from family ties. MM is a dishonest person.

Michael Moore has lying down to an Art. His ability to pull things out of context and draw inferences is shocking. Don't trust anything you see from him at full face value, read into it. I don't know a single liberal who doesn't think he is an embarrassment to journalism and liberal politics. His supporters only seem to show up on the internet in short bursts of typos and "emotionalized" logic.

I found it extremely interesting. I knew how healthcare was in Canada, but I didn't really know much about how damaging having to pay for it in the United States was. What I found the most interesting was the cost of medicine in Cuba, and the healthcare in France.

He's actually mostly on the ball with criticism of the US; where he falls flat is in extremely selective reporting (Moore specialty) of other countries' health care systems -- way underreports their citizens' dissatisfactions.

Michael Moore is a blind, rampaging Democrat and has his own agenda. He's only concerned with promoting himself and uses less knowledgable people as stepping stones to do so.

It's another pile of manipulated truths, half-truths and outright lies by Moore. I refuse to watch anything of his or do anything that would put one cent into his pocket. We have very good health care in the US. My wife and I are both alive because of it. Her, an aggressive form of breast cancer. Me, bacterial spinal meningitis.
