Yes! It still happens sometimes to this day, but it is so scary. When ever it happens to me I try to wake myself up but I can't. All of a sudden I see myself and I try to wake myself up, but I cant, so in my dream I panic and almost STOP breathing. Every time i think its going to kill me I wake up!!!!

Yeah, I've experienced sleep paralysis before I knew what it was called and thought it was something paranormal because I could have sworn my elbow was floating through the wall in a ghostly way. Then my body floated out of the top bunk and down to the floor. When I woke up back in the top bunk the next morning, I figured it was all just a strange dream!

Yes! My sister and I would get them. Scary stuff if you don't realize what's going on. It really freaked me out for the first few years. I don't get them that often now. I would get them along with nightmares, strange sounds, visions. Sometimes I thought I was awake and really seeing the stuff around me. Sometimes I thought I was screaming and banging my fist against the wall for my parents attention. I could go on.....I didn't think it happened to many other people.
Oh ya, and the floating feeling like Will metioned

Yes, on occasion, I will awaken to a semi-sleeping state and feel the presence of something near to me -- often I'll have visions with my eyes closed -- and I'm unable to move my body at all. It's freaky stuff.

Yeah. It can be really scary. I actually remember the first time it happened to me, I was 12. It really freaked me out. It still happens to me every now and again, but not as much as when I was younger.

ALL the time, especially when I was little. The scariest part is when I would start rolling over and half way my body would freeze, I would be awake...know that I couldn't move and my face would be stuck in my pillow so I couldn't breath.
When I was much younger and sometimes slept with my parents...one time my mother rolled over on top of me and I couldn't breath...I also couldn't move and couldn't even open my mouth to cry.

Yes but it was after a lucid dream I had I couldn't wake up and I felt like someone was pushing my head down into the pillow.....a sense of vertigo, but it has not happened since....

You're probably astrally projecting. The paralysis is when you're coming back into body
