I always give all that I have to someone I love and sometimes I will get hurt along the way but I never give up.

I think what you're able to give at any given moment varies. If you're sick, you can't give what you would if you were not, etc. "The Four Agreements' by Miguel Ruiz illustrates that the 4 things to aim for is 1) Don't make assumptions. 2) Don't take anything personally. 3) Always do your best... well, can't recall #4. LOL But do your best and therefore you are giving your best. You also have to give your best to yourself, which means taking good care of yourself, too. We all JUDGE that we could try harder, but is that a fair judgement against ourselves? It's a misconception that you have to give until you're exhausted to really be putting forth the "right" effort. I say do your best and don't worry!

I give all I have...sometimes to the point of mental or physical exhaustion...wish I could learn to do that for myself sometimes.
