I would start by doing a Junior Showcase. And see if you get any offers to any good teams. Juniors matures you as a person and a player and many coaches in college love those type players. I would play juniors until 20, and see what scholorships you get from any good colleges. Or you could try playing major juniors up in canada, which effects your amatur status. Which means you can not play in college in the states. It matters what you an your family think. Major juniors in tough to get into. Good luck

While playing hockey since 6 less than guarentees a stint in the NHL, I would think it would be best to get into Juniors by 16 or so if you are talented enough to go pro. You can get into juniors the easiest by playing on AAA teams or any team that is getting scouted by junior teams or possibly arrange a tryout with a junior team (or attend the tryouts they hold). Good luck

Definitely go the JUNIOR route. College doesn't look much of an like an option for you.

Your question is also much too broad. Where do you live for starters?
