I would definitely avoid letting your rabbit eat pine needles. I'm not so sure about regular pine tree needles, but I do know that evergreen bush needles are poisonous to cattle and horses. If they are poisonous to them, they are probably poisonous to rabbits.

In moderation it's just another green with high oil content.

I would put something specifically rabbit food down to distract your bunny from the needles. Too much would cause an upset stomach.

I would just go ahead and block him from getting to the tree to be safe. I had to gate mine in the hall because he was loving my fake tree and even the wire coating you can buy at Petco doesnt keep him from chewing the wires.

i would say not good, the needles contain natural turpentine, if you notice on the ground by a pine tree nothing grows...better safe than sorry

Probably not. They say that with with rabbit, if your not sure, don't feed it and i've heard people say its bad.
BTW, it won't matter on the way out anyway coz it's all been digested.

Yes, he can eat them; but they are harmful and may poison him. Keep an eye on him & if his eating or defecation habits change take him to a vet.
