I'm using a MAC iBook G4. It will recognize CD-Rs but it won't recognize my DVD-Rs. They're new, spotless, and they're being ejected after inserting them.
What can I do?

Are you sure your drive can read DVD-R's? It sounds like the answer is no. May be it can only read DVD's
