Right now the best Mav's player is Josh Howard. He has a balanced game. He plays D, has a little jumper, and he's a good slasher. Right now he is saving Dallas. Honestly Dirk is like number three or four to me right now.
1.Josh Howard- Doing everything balanced. Not really super stand out in any category. He's just one of those talented player who bring intangibles and shines while doing it.
2 Jason Terry - 6th man my ***. This dude can drop 20 on any night. Decent defense, just a bit undersized for a 2 guard. Playmaking skills are not the greatest for a guard but he has definently improved since being in Dallas every year in this area. What makes Terry so great to this team is that he has a nice three point shot with a quick release, which this team depends on when Dirks isn't dropping.
3. Devin Harris - Dude has quick feet and has the potential to be a top 7-8 pg in the league if you ask me. Needs to develop the jumper, then he'll surpass Terry. He's a better pg than Terry, but Terry is more consistent with his game.
4. Dirk Nowitzki - Dude is playing super soft this year, and is living mostly off of open jumpers that are created by Harris, Terry, Stackhouse, Howard

are you asking favorite of best player..... they're not necessarily one and the same..... Devin Harris isn't the best on that team, though he's your favorite. He was great at Wisconsin and is a very good player now. The Mavericks have many good players like the ones you mentioned....
Josh Howard is NOW the Mavericks BEST PLAYER......
It USED TO BE Dirk Nowitzki, who took it over from Steve Nash and Michael Finley a few years back.

i think its josh howard. Dirk Nowitzki is nice, but he's to inconsistent. The jet is also nice. He'd be third. 4th would be devin harris he's a nice quick little guy that needs to improve his three-pointer.
