I speak three somewhat fluently: English (mother tongue), Spanish, and Arabic...
I just had people teach me the other two. I am dating a Colombian (so that's the Spanish) and a lot of my friends and coworkers are Arabs (hence, the Arabic).

hi my pal. I comprehend what you advise. listening to a various language is plenty extra no longer worry-free than examining it because of the fact once you study you spot each and every letter and each syllable of each and every be conscious. while we English audio device talk, and surprisingly while we sing, we don't take care to scrupulously enunciate each and every be conscious and pronounce each and every syllable many of the time, so the phenomenon you're experiencing is actual. whilst I say that, i'd advise which you pay attention extra heavily because of the fact whether we try to pronounce the finished be conscious, we sometimes "swallow" parts, so I call the parts which you do no longer pay attention or do no longer heal properly sufficient, swallowed syllables. maximum individuals say ev'ry (each and every), cam'ra(digicam), lab'ratory (laboratory). We turn particularly some t's that look interior the midst of words into d's, working example, ledder (letter) and we make the contraction wanna from desire to (the two t's are completely swallowed in this occasion). In time, as you pay attention extra heavily, you will pay attention particularly some the endings. The are swallowed because of the fact of laziness or purely the shortcoming of emphasizing all syllables the two. Incidentaly, the t in pay attention is silent. (if I say silent in a lazy way, you will no longer pay attention the t on the tip and if I say bring about a delicate way you will no longer pay attention the d on the tip. i'm hoping this facilitates.
