You produce small amounts of colostrum before the baby's born. No milk yet. The milk will come in when the baby is about 3-4 days old.

You should start producing colosterum any time now everyone starts that at diffrent times. My friend just started and she is I think 36 weeks. I am 21 and already leaking everywhere. You wont actually produce milk till a few days after the baby is born but you can still breast feed because the colosterum is really good for the baby and packed with vitamins.

You might produce small amounts of milk and colostrum before the baby is born, but maybe not, you won't produce anything significant until baby is about three or four days old.

About two days after your child is born, you will experience your milk "coming in". Your breasts will be rock hard and a bit painful, then will change to normal and the milk will flow easily. They say to hang in there through the first part of breast feeding, stick with it and you will do well after that.

You won't have milk until after the baby comes out and then it takes a few days to a week.
