there were extensive trade networks all over the Americas. how mush direct contact they had i dont know, but they would have had at least knowledge of there civilization

who knows? they were lots of miles apart, Aztecs being in central Mexico and south, and the Caribs being over in Florida area. Compare their customs, dress, food, trade goods, ceremonies, and antiquities, and you decide if you think they did...

Probably not. There was no networks back then. All they knew was their surrounding area. A very small area at that.
