Atlantis is a great place to stay but very expensive. I would recommend Comfort Suits on Paradise Island. You have guest privleges at Atlantis including beaches, pools, water slides and health spa. Much cheaper and closer to the beach than some of the guests at Atlantis.

check it out.

Enjoy and good luck)

It depends on what you are lookinig for. If you want a huge mega resort with tons of whining kids and a water park, then Atlanitis is the way to go. It's expensive and over the top, but it's fun. Comfort suites is across the street and will get you full access without the expense. THey are both on Paradise Island, which is not owned by Atlantis.. but atlantis takes up a good part of the island. Everything on Paradise Island is more expensive than the main island across the bridge in Nassau.

If you're looking to stay in Nassau (same airport as Atlantis - NAS) then the Hilton is located downtown and is a quiet getaway. Compass point is a quiet relaxing property at Gambier, and the Sheraton is newly refurbished and located at Cable Beach. Sheraton is a typical resort, lots of pools, beach, things to do. the others..more relaxing low keyed getaways.

Of course, if you are older that 18.. you can go to Breezes- all inclusive on Cable Beach. - It's a budget property, but fun for most.

The WESTIN is on Grand Bahama Island, and about 90miles from Nassau. You would need to fly into FPO airport. Westin and the Sheraton make up the Our Lucaya property. 2 large resorts with lots of beachfront and lots to do.

The Atlantis, it is own it's own private island connected by a bridge to the mainland. The grand Westin is right across the bay I believe. If you're looking for a more affordable room then stay at the westin
