Does anyone know any cheap hotels for an overnight stay in Barbados, close to the Grantly adams international airport?
I'm having trouble finding them.

Shonlan Airport Hotel. Clean rooms, about a mile from airport and price is around $70 with tax.

From experience I find hotels can be expensive, if you want cheap, perhaps you should consider a guest house, there are a number of those near the airport. Check the link below -

Note: from one side of Barbados to the other (not rush hour) is about 1 hour, you are never far from the airport where ever you stay.

it's important to know that barbados is extremely small...
the area close to the airport is pretty expensive. they really try to push people closer to Bridgetown (the downtown area)
the downtown area (Bridgetown) is where u may spend a lot of ur time anyway if ur going for pleasure and it is close enough to the airport. while u r searching if u see bridgetown, christ church or dover u r very near the downtown area. not sure how ur defining cheap, but one of the hotels i have used is amaryllis beach resort and it is reasonable. the lodging on this island is pretty expensive though

Barbados is so small I wouldn't bother staying close to the airport, but if you still think you should try this directory whih has good deals and hotels beside the airport in the SW of the island

yes you can catch the bus they run about every twenty min you have to pick it up at the street though
