Calling the police is not just for the "bad people." Everyone who gets in trouble legally is not a rapist or a murderer. This guy is harassing you and possibly stalking you. He is in the wrong. That is what the police are for.
I would suggest telling him how you feel (that you're being harrassed, stalked, whatever), that his behavior is completely inappropriate (which certainly does nothing to win you back) and that if he does it again you're calling the police. That way he'll know exactly what the consequences will be.

It's good that you broke up with this guy... very good. This is definitely a bad sign. I'm not saying he's a psycho or anything, but he is in NO WAY "healthy relationship" material. Make your feelings known. Tell him you DO NOT want him coming around. Tell him it's over and he needs to accept it. If he continues coming around, don't feel bad about calling the cops. You could also try calling his family if you thought they might be of any help.

He is desperate to have you back and you can't blame him for trying, i am sure that you are a really great girl. But...after a while enough is enough he needs to realize that your relationship is O-V-E-R. Let him know that you need some time to NOT talk to him and that later on you will talk to him again and maybe be friends, but tell him that the way he is acting is pushing you away more! Don't tell him he's a stalker or anything let him know you really care about him, but you just need time to yourself right now.

Send him a You've been dumped text message (see Yahoo news) and change your number. If he continues tell him firmly, that if he does not stop the harassment, you will call the police.

Rae, don't give him your new address when you get moved, and get a different phone number and don't give that to him either, and tell everyone that you DO give it to to NOT give it to him. It's that simple.

You should change your number and don't answer when he comes to the door, he will get the point eventually.

You say his family has been good to you.
Perhaps there is one of them who may be able to say something to him.
