A stalemate is any position or situation in which no action can be taken or progress made; deadlock. Example being: "Talks between union and management resulted in a stalemate."
After the war, the Allies imposed a series of peace treaties on the Central Powers. The 1919 Versailles Treaty, which Germany was kept under blockade until she signed, ended the war. It declared Germany responsible for the war and required Germany to pay enormous war reparations and awarding territory to the victors. Unable to pay them with exports (a result of territorial losses and postwar recession), she did so by borrowing from the United States, until the reparations were suspended in 1931. The "Guilt Thesis" became a controversial explanation of events in Britain and the United States. The Treaty of Versailles caused enormous bitterness in Germany, which nationalist movements, especially the Nazis, exploited. (See Dolchstosslegende). The treaty contributed to one of the worst economic collapses in German history, sparking runaway inflation in the 1920s.
The Ottoman Empire was to be partitioned by the Treaty of Sèvres in 1920. The treaty, however, was never ratified by the Sultan and was rejected by the Turkish republican movement. This led to the Turkish Independence War and, ultimately, to the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne.
Austria-Hungary was also partitioned, largely along ethnic lines. The details were contained in the Treaty of Saint-Germain and the Treaty of Trianon.
Did you mean the Lusitania?
RMS Lusitania was a British luxury ocean liner owned by the Cunard Steamship Line Shipping Company and built by John Brown and Company of Clydebank, Scotland. Christened and launched on Thursday, June 7, 1906, Lusitania met a disastrous end as a casualty of the First World War when she was torpedoed by the German submarine, U-20, on May 7, 1915. It carried many American passengers. The great ship sank in just 18 minutes, eight miles (15 km) off of the Old Head of Kinsale, Ireland, killing 1,198 of the 1,959 people aboard. The sinking turned public opinion in many countries against Germany. It is often considered by historians to be the second most famous civilian passenger liner disaster after the Titanic.

Stalemate is when two opponents are cannot defeat the other and can gain nothing from the opponent. This is also known as deadlock. This happened on the Western Front when the Allies couldn't break or capture the German front line and when the Germans couldnt break the Allied front line. No man's land was a result of this, the land in which many men died trying to charge the enemy.
the Treaty of Versailles was where peace was made. Basically Germany was humiliated by losing lots of Her land and by being blamed for the war. The reparation costs Germany had to pay exceeded 6 billion pound. This humiliation led to the rise of Hitler and Fascism/Naziism in Germany.
The Lusitania was an British ship carrying many American passengers who died when it was sunk by German U-boats. This angered the Americans so much that they joined the war against the Germans, crucially leading to the German defeat and the German humiliation at the Treaty of Versailles.
Hope that helps!

Stalemate is when neither side wins. They both give up. The Lusitania was a ship that was sunk during the war. The peacemaking efforts at the end of the war were generally considered to be poorly done, planting the seeds for WWII.
The prior answerer is right -- look these concepts up in Google or Wikipedia. But note the proper spellings of stalemate and Lusitania. These were both misspelled in your question.

This is where Google and Wikipedia can help you, but you have to spell the words properly.
Google "Lusitana" to find out about this ship, probably on Wiki
Google "World War I" and the last paragraphs should explain how the war ended and what the treaties said.
Google this: define stalemate
and you will find the definition and how to use the word in a sentence.
This will help you more than asking for entire answers on YA. You will also be able to get higher grades on tests.

Stalemate...there's no resolution, both sides have come as far as they're going to go, no more compromise is possible...like a hung jury.
The Lucitania was a ship. Type Lucitania in the search bar and you'll get tons of stuff, including pictures.
You need to look in your book for peace making at the end of the war. You could read tons of other stuff, and not be able to answer test questions because it's not the stuff in your book.

stalemate is when two warring parties are equally matched and unable to make any ground on each other.
This is when one of the parties surrenders to the other,Then they sit down and decide who gets what from whom
The Lusitania was sunk just off Ireland and because of this America joined in the war
