In many ways the womens lib movement in the US destroyed any semblance of a "traditional" mother at home family. I am married to a woman that has a great education and a great career...but she can do nothing "womanly". Now before you go jumping all over me, I can do the "manly" things like fix a car, put up shelves, change a sink pipe, etc. However, she can not do any of those things or cook...or clean...

I do love my wife, but I love her because I was raised to think that women and men should be equal in all things. As I get older, that sounds like a bigger load of crap everyday. Men and Women are different for a reason and in general...Western white women are losing many of the good traits that differentiate a woman and man. Instead, when we think of women here now, we think about how needy or materialistic or whatever they are instead of what good nurtures they are or how well they can cook.

I know this sounds 100 times worse than its meant to sound and I do not wish to take ANY rights away from a woman...I think in the US we have just tried way too hard to pretend the sexes are not different.

you know what,,,i am western white female and i am embaressed to say no ...the reason being our culture here has been screwed up that we have lost all family values ...we are spoiled with fast food and keeping up with the jones's more more more faster faster to the point that females are out there compeating for the jobs instead of raising their kids. the generations are losing the faimly skills that are passed down from elders ...we sell off the faimly treasures and land and it just all gets lost...now i am speaking in a "as a whole" there are still some out there that would make wonderfull wives but in general i would say no...i believe your above mention and the mexicans would make a better choice...oh and if you notice the ones that make a good choice is the one where the MAN is still the head of the household

No matter where you are, there are women who are good wives and those who are bad wives. Just like with men who are good husbands or bad. It's a chance you take. Thats why its good to go with someone for awhile before you marry..
Not like buying a car and you want to test drive it. After people marry, sometimes people change. They think they own the other one. Or have a right to boss them around. Even deprive them sex just to get their own way. Some of you know exactly what I'm saying too.

That depends what you expect in a wife: if you want a partner to share your life with equally, while the both of you keep an equal amount of independence at the same time, there are lots of western girls to fill that role.

On the other hand, if your one of those ignorant pricks, that think a wife is there only to serve you, and make babies; then I'm sorry, most western girls are smarter than you, and wont put up with that crap.

Ah i'd say to be absolutly sure there is no way you can find out if someone would be a good wife unless you knew them, seriously. But i'd say yeah i definitly think they could be, just like any one, every person grows up in a different situation and that situation usually shapes there oppinons and actions. SO just figure out what kind of a life the person had and you'll basically see from there. Usually rich stuck ups are hard to deal with but then agian not really becuase every single perosn is really different. SO if you think about it there really is no way to say for sure...cause there will be many that could be and others that won't

well, from my experience no, that is my first reaction. but, because we are all different it depends on the individuals, as long as you find some one who is compatible with you and you work together through situations well there no reason why it should not work. i have bad experience of western women, but i suppose my western women have had bed experience of western men. choosing the right one is so difficult you think ye this girl seems ok, and some have a niggles and they give up, other just put up with it whilst others work through it and help each other through the good, bad and otherwise. my experience dose not put me of western women. it just makes me realise how my good judgement can be so wrong.

It is whispered in some circles that feminists have emancipated themselves into worthlessness. They constant competing rather than living with their fellow men. The need to be equal rather than two differing but a times equal powers. Eastern women are bred with relatively traditional values. The western woman is in a transient phase whereby she fights, competes, derides that which she secretly desires. Women harass and nag men to distraction, destroy their self confidence with vicious remarks but it is always th eguys who end up in court for violence or harrassment, at at time when a lot of men feel more pressurised into performing or feeling unevoked or uninspired sentiments.

The war of the sexes. Since the beginning of time to present day. Heaven is loving adoring being entirley besotted with ones spouse. Hell is coveting your neighbours.

Some love the carefree western open mindedness. Others the eastern reserve and culturedness. Each to whatever his hearts desire is.

Generally only if you accept wives as being partners in life with equal or superior brain power and earning ability - then they make great wives.
There will of course always be a few that will stay at home to get pregnant and devote their life to a man's happiness and wellbeing - but these don't really count as women - they're usually called doormats.

No, we're not expecting women to be slaves, It's called etiquettes, traditional values, and gender roles, no one smacks the women around. Like Chino saids it, there are reasons why women and men are supposed to be different in the first place. I'm definitely not talking about misorgny but the "traditional traits" of a women that are are now lost in the west because of the fanatical "Feminist movements" in the past couple of decades..

Funny thing how alot of you white males despise the "eastern traditions" think it's backward, yet alot of you are secretly dieing to meet an asian women as your wives because of that very "traditional values" that they uphold which makes them distinctively asian. But why..What's wrong with your western white girls?
