Legalized & taxed like alcohol?
Not sure & guessing it would not happen even if heavily taxed.
Right now it would be political suicide for anyone to back the legalization proposition.
Decriminalized ?...absolutely w/ the provision for heavy fines & criminal charges against anyone who sells it privately or buys it for kids.
See nothing wrong at all w/ individuals who have bonafide medical reasons to have it.
"Heard of "some MDs who smoke & would prescribe it if they could , for anything from stress relief to the more serious illnesses & treatments for which it has been proven to have therapeutic effect..
There are enough seeds around for people to grow their own
for personal use & as long as it stays that way,.... why not?.
Personal observation.......
Worked in ER for a number of years & the MDs have said that the vast majority of accidents, injuries & death by violence are alcohol related.
I was guessing 75% & they said over 90% on some nights.
None could recall any pot related "violence" & maybe treated a few "smokers" for minor things like walking into a tree or
"munchie" related bellyaches.
Don't "bogart' that joint ,my friend, pass it over to meeee.......
Best regards

I say legalize all drugs. Sell marijuana like cigarettes, and make the harder ones available with a prescription and therapy/rehab program under a doctor's supervision. Suggested reading: Ain't nobody's business if you do. by Peter McWilliams.

I think you should go to youtube, type in 'Foamy the squirrel, and pull up the comic named 'Drugs in your head.' That is what I think about medicinal marijuana

I say "no"

i'm pretty liberal... but legalizing just because YOU say it's "less dangerous" than something else doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

it's not GOOD for the average user... and it's already illegal.

i am NOT opposed to medicinal marijuana

I say legalize it, tax it, control it. This would take a lot of drug dealers off the streets, and decrease crime.

Absolutely.....and make it law that any one who burns out his brains or liver with weed and booze waives all right to taxpayer-supported care...I'll support a bill like that.

I don't care..Maybe legalize it and tax

it heavily. Legalize prostitution as well and tax it too.

Legalizing it allows regulation of it, I'd support that.

it's a safer and non addictive alternative to alcohol and tobacco...

I say yes.

Just because its LESS dangerous doesn't make it good. Keep it illegal.
