For me, it's my First place in French Dictation Level B award due to the fact that I was the only one from my school to enter the competition of that Level and I actually thought I was going to get third, but when they called my school's name, I knew I won the award. It made me realize that I do have a knack for the French language and I have decided to pursue further knowledge on the subject.

In case some of you are unaware of how the dictation works, here's the basic breakdown.

There is one proctor and you(along with about 20 or 30 depending on how many reps from a school are sent) have to listen and write down everything they say in French. You get marked off for mispelling words, missing words, forgetting the accent marks, grammatically incorrect sentences, and putting the accent marks in the wrong spot.

I have 2 now.

I had to write the Why I am An American Patriot essay for my SOAR class and then it was submitted to the highschool. The top 10 went to the highschool. Well, the teacher told me mine was number 1 in that top 10. So I wasn't expecting much because I was clueless on the topic. I just wrote random stuff. Then I got the information and my essay won 1st and got 100 dollars and moving onto state and if that wins, nationals. I'm so proud because I was clueless about what to write.

Then there is my science fair award. In third grade, it was my first time doing it and I entered experimental with stuff about chemicals and how other things can replace them. Well, I didn't do it that well and I knew that if they didn't call me for 3rd or 4th, then I wouldn't get anything at all. When I heard my name for 2nd I was so surprised.

There's also my b-ball award. we won first and I made one of the game changing plays. And this was my last year playing for this division before high school jv or varsity.
