I had just turned out my bedroom light. I was trying to go asleep and I heard and felt a strong breeze coming through my bedroom. I heard another sound coming from my bedroom poster on my wall like it was flapping around because of this strong breeze. I remained silent for a few minutes then I turned on my light. There was no breeze, my fan was shut off, my bedroom window was closed and locked. There was no way for any wind to enter my bedroom. I had never experienced anything like this before in all the years of living in my place. I was totally stumped and at loss for words. The only thing that came to mind was the fact I had a very close friend of mine pass away just 3 days earlier. I was not dreaming nor was I prone to any wild imaginations and I did not watch any scary movies. To this day I still wonder what I felt and heard that strange night in my bed.

I've actually had two experiences with the paranormal. The first one happened when I was eight years old and my favorite auntie had just died. My cousin and I left the funeral home together and he drove me to my grandmother's house. He and I were alone in the house. In my aunt's room, which I could see from where I sat, I saw a figure (the lights were on so it was pretty clear to me). I told my cousin, we investigated, and found nothing. The second time, I was taking out the trash, when I heard a male voice calling out my name. Thing is, I was completely alone on the property of 32 acres. I literally looked up to the second story, from whence the voice came, looking for who might be calling. The window at which I was looking is the same one that my grandfather died at some 25 years earlier.

Christ yah! It's the heeby-jeebies from the booze and drugs. Didn't we have this talk before? Bugs, martians, ogres, the occasional deranged cartoon character, my mother, my old dog Beau, the Pope. Why do you think I'm never bored? come on.. I got all these people to talk to.

I was asleep, lying face down when suddenly something thumped me on my chest. I woke up considering: how could anyone thump me on my chest while I'm lying face down? Hmmm. You know what? I think it was a ghost.

Yu so silly.

Sometimes I felt like there was something there, but then I realized if there was something that my dogs would have sensed it, and so I felt calmer.
