This is the best forum on yahoo answers. I used to ask and answer in the Israel forum but those kids are so rude and disrespectful.

Welcome Malka - so glad that you could join our happy gang. We have fun on this site and we hope that you will stick around and enjoy some of our antics. As I am only 66 I do not go to the Senior Center in my town - average age of those who attend is 85 - so I feel like a baby over there. Have helped to serve lunch on two occasions - but that's about it. Come back and see us again. CJ

Hi Malka, very nice to meet you and I too welcome you to Seniors YA. Nice to have you here.
I must admit i have never been to a center either. They are open during the hours I work. I think I would like to go just for the social aspects. Ours seems very active and take interesting trips.

Sure. You are welcome ! Visit my 360, read my blogs. I'm 64. The only senior center I visited was yesterday to receive information about a Supplemental policy to go along with Medicare Part A & B.

The last time I was at a Senior Center was last year to visit my mom. Those guys in there hustled me in the pool room for my dessert.

I got to know the cook there, tho and get another one.

Welcome, your experience is needed here, especially about neutering your cats. ;+) I read your 360 blog.

My job. The only times this senior has been at a seniors' center is when she had a job at one for three years.

Never been in a "senior center" in my life and hope to never be there.

I have way too many of my own interests to sit around and have someone tell me what I should be doing.

Welcome, glad your here.
I go to the senior center to play cards. Monday is "Hand
and Foot ( a variation of Canasta ). Thursday is party Bridge. I have a great time. I love cards and play with friends at my place or theirs once, sometimes twice a week.
