i'd like to take the train to goa (madgaon). which station should i go to from the airport?
what would be the best way to get to that station from the airport ? any rickshaws? how much should it cost from the airport to that station?

Depending on where your train is leaving from. To be safe, I would advise you to get to Secunderabad station. It is a big junction and trains stop for a little longer than say Begumpet Rly Station.
To get to the station, you could hire a taxi right outside the airport. There are prepaid taxi stations. When you exit the airport, look for a taxi booth where you tell them where you want to be taken and they provide you a taxi with an exact amount to pay. I would guess it should cost about a 100 rupees may be? May be 200 at most...They should be able to tell you. That is about 2-5 dollars US.

Kacheguda Railway Station and Hyderabad Deccan Railway stations are the nearest to Airport.

Train to Goa starts from Kachiguda stn.
Which costs From begumpet airport around IN Rs.100 for auto, but better prepaid taxis about 200. Please visit SC Rly website for correct information regarding train service, as there may not be daily service to direct Goa. You can also book your tickets thorough internet

the airport is at begumpet, 8 km north of abids.take an auto rickshaw from Abids(about Rs.40,Rs.25 if you're a good bargaininer)or taxi Rs.120.

You can first identify what train you want to take. goto www.indianrail.gov.in and find a train. Then depending on that, you can either goto Hyderabad(NampallY) or Secunderabad station. You can take a taxi which would be between 200-300 Rupees or a Auto.
