How come some people joined yahoo answers a year later than me and they are in level 5 already?

Question

How come some people joined yahoo answers a lot later than me (6 or 8 months later) or even a year later and they are in level 5 already, in less than two weeks?

1. Do they have no life, or they don't eat or sleep?

2. Or do they have multiple accounts so they ask using one account and answer using another, and then they use the first account to give themselves the best answer, so they get 10 points quickly? Is that?

I got to level 7 in six months. It's possible when you work nights and can't sleep during the day.

I've only gotten hate mail a couple times, once because someone had a problem that I believed in doing charity, another for someone thinking I shouldn't by my daughter Hollister clothes, and another where someone thought it was rude of me to put how much money I make a year. I personally think people that do that are jealous. Someone that e-mailed you obviously didn't have any respect for other people's beliefs. You can report it as spam but I'm not sure how far it will get. Anyway, just ignore the e-mails. I actually laugh at some people on these boards. The rudeness is amazing. Epically on the parenting board, I mean it's the PARENTING board can they act a little more mature. Anyway if someone hasn't told you, welcome to Yahoo Answers. I apologize to the fact of these annoying people, but just ignore it and keep going.

Hun, you have to take into consideration the fact that some of them are "Top Contributors" and get this because they never break a rule, or get alot of "Best Answer's" .....then you have those such as myself, who have accidently gotten a warning or two not realizing I'd broken a rule or two, who just would simply have a good streak of Shear Luck and get "Best Answer's" alot for awhile, then nothing for a long time. Altho I dont know if I am in the catagory you say of these people. There was a time, when I was so addicted to this site, my kids were complaining to me, "Mom your on the computer again" as soon as they'd walk in the door. So, I had to make a decision one day. Does my life revolve around this darn computer or my family? And of course I chose my family. And so now every so often I visit Y/A and answer a question or two, and then I'll just go about my other computer things, then just get off of it completely for the day! I hope I was of some help to you hun! smile!!!

LMAO I know what u mean!!! Ive only been here a few months and Im level 6. I work nights so normally noone is home all day with me so Im on yahoo answers alot!!!! I usually do like 4 hrs a day....I know- Im addicted what can I say????? I do have a life however!!!! I only have one account with them though Have an awesome christmas

I'm pretty sure you have answered your own question. Both 1 & 2, there are some that have nothing better to do and just sit at the computer all day and night and then there are others that cheat!! =0)

umm they dont got a life i got another account on this and was at level 3 in 2 weeks.. its b/c i was at school and i just sit at the comp. all day since i have no classes like i was in bio all day yeaturday 4 a in school field trip and i was on here the whole time

lol, I joined in august(I think) and I'm lvl 4.. I just do this and a few other things with my spare time... gives me something to do... I don't have another account either ^_^
