Actually they are both pretty much on the same side, in most things. The real problem we have in the US is that we've allowed our electoral system to be ruled by money. In an 'open' race, i.e. one where there's no incumbent seeking re-election, the candidate that spends the most money wins about 95% of the time. So both parties desperately need money, and they both get it from the same sources. So you can't expect their true agendas to be all that much different. The Republicans foster the idea that they represent good and Democrats or 'lib' represent evil. But I think both parties are mostly evil, and the Republicans more so.

Good Vs Evil, to me, is not a battle to over take the other but a balance between the two. Good makes the evil and the evil makes the good. Without one the other cannot survive. Therefore good and evil will always battle.
Sometimes good will have conquered over evil and be in power for a while but the good will eventually be corrupt and evil will rule. Under the power of evil people bond together and become good and conquer over evil again.

I think most people mean by good things that promote safety, comfort, love, growth, kindness, and organization and communication. Evil would be frightening, destructive, isolating things, hurting people.
From either a religious or lay view, I think good and evil are quite real as models to describe runs of human emotion or behavior. They reside in people and they are in constant conflict. The one side strengthens that we feed. Love and involvement with people fuels our good side while isolation fuels the other.

Meaningless terms unless you define them. You should do that in your paper. I think in terms of good and bad or negative and positive rather than "good vs evil". Good to me is something based on a logical construct which weighs the negatives and positives of something for the most possible positive outcome. The opposite is true for bad. Those are examples of measuring optimized good and bad. I view it as a gray scale, so there are variations of good and bad.

Good= God,and following His righteous ways as outlined in the 10 commandments.
Evil=Satan, and folllowing his unrighteous ways, in tempting you to not follow God's commandments.
The Bible is full of examples of Good verses Evil. Have you read it?.You don't have to look any farther that the Book of Genesis to get the picture.

Good and evil are all just perceptions of the mind based on your upbringing and morals. For instance Hitler thought he was an amazing person, but to everyone else he was terrrible. And MLK Jr. thought he was doing great in the world, but was assasinated because the person beleived the contrary.

Too broad a topic. You need to start with the positive idea of goodness that each of us means for ourselves. Each person wants what is good for them. Each person shuns what will hurt them and calls it evil. Start there.

Some things are good, some things are bad, and some things are indifferent. Virtue is good, vice is bad, and anything outside of the will is indifferent. (epictetus)

Two opposing symbols of the same force; action. Society and human thought assign the values to action based on cultural acceptance.
They have no real meaning outside of the values culture assigns to actions it perceives.
