If it is bending near the root, you are overwatering it and it is rotting. For the time being, use some small sticks to help it stand straight and do not water the plant. Most palms can get all the water they need from the air humidity. If it falls over, the roots are gone. Nothing you can do at that point.

All Garden centers have plant supports which are basically canes or sticks made for supporting plants, the sticks come in a green color and of special wood that won't rot and you get them in different sizes, so get one that will go into the soil about 6 to 8" and still be tall enough to loosely tie palm to, don't tie it too tight. and they only cost pennies.

take a wire post and use some garbage bag ties and the tree will be guided upwards or n e way u want to teach it to grow. if you dont have a wire post a wood stud will do. good luck

you're watering it too often... let the soil dry out on top before you water again... most of the time a good soaking of the whole pot just once a week in winter is plenty......too much water makes the water stand in the trunk too long and it softens up the tissues there and lets the weight of the top drag the tree over.....

Tie it to a stick. Have you ever seen trees supported by sticks? Why do your think they do it?
