HELLOOO!! HARDLY ANYBODY REFERS TO THE VIDEOS. YOU NEED TO ANSWER TWICE TO THIS QUESTION: YOUR OPINION AFTER READING THIS QUESTION AND YOUR SAME OR DIFFERENT OPINION AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEOS (AND GIVE SOME EXPLANATION)-- THANK YOU VERY MUCH

@Kismet and others who share opinion: I don't think you have watched the videos. Walid Shoebat, who is a Palestinian says that Muslims *hate* Jews, because it is their FAITH. So whatever you do, they want you dead (or at least subservient). Anothing thing: according to Islam it is acceptable to LIE. So signing peace treaties is permissible just to deceive the enemy.
When they sign 'peace accords', they call it a 'hudna' accord(which is done to establish 'peace treaties' with the enemy) and it is done for 2 purposes:
1: to gain concessions
2: to regain strength

He also says that they hate the Israeli's because of the covenant in the bible regarding that land.
They want to prove that the Bible has been fabricated by the Jews and the land belongs to the Muslims. When Israel retreats, it is proof to them what their faith says is true that they will destroy the Jews and when Israel does this, is like confidence buildup to fullfill their Islamic dogma.
Can you answer my question again

If the Palestinians want their children to be brought up healthy and happy, why do they celebrate it then when their children blow themselves up to serve their cause and feel proud over their martyrdom?
That's not exactly the same wishes as the Israeli's have I think

2007-12-14 07:33:50 · update #5

@Rick T: if you believe that Israel does not stand behind any peace treaty they sign, then why do you keep silence about the Palestinians real motives when they sign a peace treaty?
Are you blind, are you Palestinian yourself or are you even worse: a Westerner that is slowly killing it's own nation because of it's utter naievity

Yes, because Israel does not and will not stand behind any peace deal and I don't think there can ever be an agreement on Jerusalem.
There is also no true representation of the Philistine's because if a group made a deal another group would so they don't recognize the agreement.

Probably not,for the Palestinians. There has never been any indication that the jews are serious about sharing anything. But I will say this. The Palestinians are not going to go away, and U.S. support for the occupation will not sustain itself indefinately. No one is "persecuting" jews in the U.S.,the U.K.,Canada or Australia. They have plenty of places to live. And I would recommend these arrogant people think about other possibilities, because I don't think you're little kingdom is meant to last. I heard about the two boys shot to death in retaliation for a homemade rocket killing two jewish-owned cows. Nice people. Shalom, baby. No,I don't think there is any point in talking. Our policy in WWII toward the fascists was: non-negotioable surrender. The Arabs should take the same position.

How can making peace be a waste of time? It's not. The problem is the Israelies and Palestinians at the table are acting like retards. Who make demands before a negotiation can even begin? Obviously, they have problems which is why they need an agreement - you don't make demands to solve all the problems before the negotiation begins to resolve them. Someone needs to pull their baby bottles out of their mouths, kick their diapered butts, and sit them down at a table together - then make them stay there until they agree on a total package.

Someone is going to get fed up, and take control of the situation for them and impose something none of them want - mark my words - it's only a matter of time. At least the Romans kept the peace and didn't put up with the BS. Yes - I'm implying all of that - and then some.

It is a total waste of time. The Palestinians do not want peace. They hate Israel and hate Jews. They want to eradicate us. You cannot make peace with a people who have, as their primary though perhaps unspoken agenda, the eradication of the Jewish race.
Total waste of time, money and Jewish blood.
I don't know when we will ever learn. A Jew and Israel in general can't make peace with a Muslim because the Muslim/Arab doesn't want it.

If you consider,Israel also has a nuclear weapon, remember, they stole it from the United States..What really are the alternatives.. Ignore it all, and watch the united nations and the far east implode, thru nuclear destruction?? Allow all nations to posses nuclear weapons ,without any constraints?? Once all nations poses nuclear capabilities, wait for the terrorists of fanatical religions or other groups who wish the destruction of Israel and the WEST to act on their goals?? As long as an open venue exists for peace negotiations, and as long as the West, polices the nuclear weaponry situations in the world, TOTAL DESTRUCTION can be 'checked'!! To say, its hopeless and peace is a waste of time, creates a marketplace for the destruction of the world ,and the annihilation of the human race.. WE MUST KEEP TRYING!!! SOLOMON

How can working towards peace ever be a bad thing, or a waste of time?

What is the alternative? Decades more of bloodshed and Israeli and Palestinian mothers weeping over the deaths of their children?

We always have to try for a real and lasting peace. Just so long as Israel's security is never compromised.

Talking with the Israelis and trying to make peace with them is a waste of time. We all know that the Israelis never keep a promise and they don't want peace. They just want more land and we know at the end they will do whatever they want as long as their as's kissers (the americans) support them.

Making peace is very important and it is possible if the Israelis negotiate with fatah but with hamas I doubt it.

As for the video you posted. That pig is christian zionist and a lier. There was a question about walid about two weeks ago and he was proved to be a big lier and fabricator.

Peace

Yes it's a waste of time to try because they only want to kill and obliterate Israel off the map. They don't want peace, they want death to anyone who has different beliefs than themselves. Any culture that celebrates the death of their children as "martyrs" for murdering others when they blow themselves up is pretty hopeless when it comes to trying to reach a peace agreement... The person below me is sadly mistaken... Palestinians do NOT want their children to be happy or put their children first. We do, so we assume they do also but that thinking is going to cause our downfall because we will trust them to much. They care more about their children being killing machines to kill us (Christians, Jews, Americans, Europeans, Canadians, Australians, etc) than anything else because Islam is not just their faith, it's their culture, they're very reason for being.

They are taught in Palestinian schools from the time they are small children to hate & kill, so until their culture is changed, there won't be any peace. How can there be with people who place no value on human life?

I have seen similar things before. Its not a waste of time to try to make peace with the Palestinians - the reality is that it is just a tough battle, but peace is never a waste of time.

Good Luck!!!

You'll never know unless you try. Or to put it another way, you'll never know.

Edit: I'm not wasting my time and brain-cells watching that mindless bible/talmud-thumping propaganda. And judging by the way you have to keep adding to your rant, it seems you're not carrying the argument on this one. Forgive us if we don't judge an entire country of people by the words of some crackpot rentamouth convert to xianity.
