yes actually just last week, I was waiting for the eggs to boil when I fell asleep on the couch. not kidding. I am stupid. Anyways I woke up some 40 minutes later, the house was smokey, and I was really confused. And then the light bulb above my head went off and I remembered the eggs.
Most of the eggs were in the floor and the ceiling, but the pot was engulfed in flames. so i turned the stove off, opened up the windows, let the cats outside and coughed. I don't cook eggs anymore. I still don't know what woke me up.
maybe it was a ghost. oooooo.

It wasn't a fire yet...but if it went for much longer it could have been.
I was visiting my mom last week and there was 5 kids running around the house, and one of the kids put a bunch of napkins into a candle and just put it down. The whole bathroom was covered in smoke. The scariest thing that if the house caught on fire we could have all died do to the location of the gas lines.

Yes, I caught the bathroom trash can on fire by accident and threw it into the tub-ran water over it-by the time I got out the front door the neighbors had called the fire department. My son also helped put his cousin who was on fire out not too long ago. She was burned 100% on the face, but she is doing better. Sad sad Sad!

I fell asleep. The candle I had, had fallen over and set fire to a pile of papers. I woke up to the sound (but not the smell) of crackling. I opened the window (adjacent) and lobbed the whole lot out into the garden. I felt a fool. Not without good cause.

Yes, I have a miniature fire extinguisher in my home on each floor. It has proved to be worthwhile. This is a small investment that will save many lives. Whoever invented this device is well appreciated by me. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Only at a fire-safety training course and it was great fun.
But seeing someone pouring just an egg-cup full of water into a hot chip pan that was alight was very sobering - the fireball went about 10ft into the air!!!!

I did used to have a pyromaniac streak in me when I was younger, and constantly had to put out fires I and my mates had started. We didn't burn any buildings or people you'll be glad to know.
