yes, if your confused by the the Adam and Eve story, note only Adam had 1 rib removed. No where else in the bible dose it say that God took a rib from every man just the one to use to create Eve.
All the rest of us are as complete as Adam was when he was 1st made. 12 pairs of ribs in all (10 pair connect to form a cage and 2 pair are called "floating Ribs")

All men and all women have 12 pairs of ribs.
This is an urban myth, oft repeated by Christians.
Even if Adam's rib was removed, that wouldn't affect his genes. And his kids would have the same number he was born with.

Men and women have the same number of ribs. The religious crap about men having less ribs because one was taken to make eve is exactly that, religious crap.
A friendly message to knox60751, you can't hog 1st answer spot with an incorrect answer and then change it. If you are that desperate for points, why don't you ask your mate to give you a "best answer"?

Number of ribs
The number of ribs was noted by the Flemish anatomist Vesalius in 1543, setting off a wave of controversy, as it was traditionally assumed from the Biblical story of Adam and Eve that men's ribs would number one fewer than women's. (De humani corporis fabrica[1]) A small proportion of people have one pair more or fewer but this is unrelated to sex. Humans have seven true ribs, each with its own connection to the sternum. Humans also have five false ribs, the first three of which connect to the one above it. The last two, which don't connect to the sternum, are called floating ribs.
they have the same number!

Yes they do, 12 (usually) which kind of blows the Adam and Eve thing. Occasionally either sex can have 13.
