Is there any control so that my friends don't get updated on every change I make in my profile (like music, quotes, etc...) The mini feed basically. It seems like there's no control for profile update news stories.

You can click on the X at the upper right corner of any mini-feed item to hide that item from your mini-feed so no one can see it. I believe that will also hide it from your friends' News Feed but I'm not totally sure on that. There is also a setting in News Feed and Mini Feed Privacy that controls whether it shows stories when you remove Profile info.

Click "privacy" on the top right
Click the third option down "News Feed and Mini-Feed Privacy"
Check the boxes of the things you want to show in your mini feed, uncheck the boxes you don't want shown
You will have to edit your applications (funwall, graffiti etc.) as well, you can control each app. seperately.
Click "applications" on the top left
A screen comes up with all of your applications and an option on the side to "edit settings" check and uncheck the boxes for each app.
There ya go! :)

Honey I had the same problem once! I got into fights with everyone I wouldnt do anything but sit on the computer and talk!!! You have to learn that ppl are fake over the computer sometimes... this guy might not even be who he says he is and you could get hurt... why trust a guy over the computer if you cant trust one in person because I bet you your not the only girl that he talks to.... think about that really hard..... you could get hurt you could really be talking to a killer or something! Be careful
