Two books I have really enjoyed which were totally different John Grishams 'A Time To Kill which I read a few years ago. It has been made into a film with Sandra Bullock and Mathew MacConachie. Second book is P.S. I love you Cecelia Ahern. This is a book that has made be both laugh and cry in equal measure. I am an avid reader there are three subjects I am not keen on though Si Fi, and Horror. I'm not over keen on autobiographies either.

It's already been said by others but I would say "To Kill A Mockingbird." If you haven't read it already, you are in for a treat. There is also a wonderful movie based on the book, as well as a stage play. It is the only book ever written by Harper Lee, and it earned her the Pulitzer Prize. She was a childhood and lifelong friend of the author Truman Capote and helped him to research the famous book, "In Cold Blood." There are two recent movies about Capote that feature Harper Lee as a character, "Infamous" and "Capote." There's also a biography about Lee out called "Mockingbird" and she appears as a character in the fictional "Capote In Kansas" which is out now in hardback.

I would definitely recommend "To Kill A Mockingbird" to a friend - in fact, I have often given it as a gift.

"Watership Down" by Richard Adams. The story is very entertaining and keeps you interested. Alot of people are weary about the book when i mention it because the main characters are rabbits, but it is a wonderful read. For a quick plot summary of this book just follow the link below. Take a chance and I think you would really enjoy this book!

That's a really good question. I've read so many but I have to say, all around my favorite has been Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Some of my other favorites are A Wrinkle in Time, and Inkheart.

though i reread many that i enjoy, i think "tale of two cities" has to be the best. I remember finishing it the first time and sitting, thinking wow, i'll never try to write again.
hemmingway, encourages me to write, lol, but tale of two cities is like reading some of the Psalms, leaves me breathless.
between that and the New Testament. recommend both.
